Prestwick Announces Peripheral and Central Nervous System Drugs Advisory Committee to Review Tetrabenazine NDA

Prestwick Pharmaceuticals has received official notice that the Peripheral and Central Nervous System Drugs Advisory Committee to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will be meeting in public session on December 6th to review the New Drug Application (NDA) for tetrabenazine for chorea associated with Huntington’s disease.

There are currently no therapies approved by the FDA to treat chorea associated with Huntington’s disease.
